MHEFI scholarships, sponsored by Material Handling Industry
of America (MHIA) member companies, are awarded each year to
students dedicated to entering the material handling and
logistics field, either within our member companies or the user
community.
Awardees are pursuing educational goals that will enable
them to enter the industry as engineers, project managers,
management and professors in material handling and logistics.
Many will be employed by end-users, by manufacturers or in MHIA
member companies.
The Material Handling Education
Foundation, Inc. was established in 1976 as an independent,
non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting
material handling education.
The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to students
pursuing an education in material handling. These scholarships
are grouped into three types of funds: Company Funds, Named
Scholarship Funds and Material Handling Industry Product
Section/Trade Association Funds. Contributors can choose a
particular fund or an individual scholarship. The affairs of
the Foundation are administered at the offices of Material
Handling Industry of America.
For more information on how you can participate in the efforts of the Foundation, please contact
Victoria Wheeler, Executive Director at 704-676-1190 or
