MHIA 2007 Golf Tournament Play

The Club at Savannah Harbor is home to The PGA TOUR’s Liberty Mutual
Legends of Golf Tournament. It offers an 18-hole championship course designed
by the renowned architect Robert Cupp, in conjunction with the legendary
“Slammin’ Sam” Snead. Recently named one of the “Top
60 Golf Resorts in the United States” by Condé Nast Traveler
Magazine, and awarded a “Four Star Best Places to Play” by
Golf Digest.
Welcome Reception

Join us for a brief welcome on the Hyatt Regency Savannah Garden Terrace.
There you can watch the sun set over the Savannah River Bridge before
venturing out to enjoy the dining opportunities in this historic city.
Enjoy entertainment along the Savannah Riverside, walk the famous Savannah
city squares by moonlight, or join the locals for the Annual Savannah
Jazz Festival.
Visit the rowdy Irish Pub, the haunted Pirates House, local mini-breweries,

Trolley Tour of Historic Savannah and High Tea
at the Gryphon Tea Room

Take a leisurely tour by trolley and explore the city’s architectural
gems and historic landmarks. MHIA is providing a Historic District trolley
tour from The Hyatt Regency that includes a tour of the Mercer House
– famed home of Johnny Mercer’s family and the location
for the filming of the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
After your tour, enjoy High Tea at the Gryphon Tea Room. Spaces are

Riverboat Tour and Dinner at Historic Old Fort
Jackson
Sunday, September 30, 2007 — 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Join us on an authentic riverboat cruise down the Savannah River while
the sun sets.
After a quiet ride, we will disembark at Old Fort Jackson, a National
Historic landmark, and step back into time. Oyster Roast and Low Country
Boil Buffet accompanied by music, bonfires and entertainment. Have your
sepia photo taken in a period uniform or attire of your choice as a
souvenir.
Luncheon at Paula Deen’s The Lady &
Sons and Savannah Shopping Tour
Monday, October 1, 2007 — 11:30 am – 3:00 pm
A trip to Savannah is not complete without a meal at The Lady &
Sons! MHIA has arranged a private luncheon for a limited number of attendees
at Paula Deen’s famed restaurant. After a buffet luncheon, tour
Savannah and join us for some afternoon shopping in the historic district

Riverside Dinner with Beach Music and Ghost Tour
Monday, October 1, 2007 — 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm
Eat, drink, and dance the “Shag” with a buffet dinner on the
riverside with music by Sea Cruz and demonstrations of this southern dance
phenomenon by The Savannah Shagger’s Club.
If dancing is not your thing, then board the trolley for a jaunt into
the haunted locales of Savannah. Get ready for a spine-tingling presentation
of tales about real people, true stories, and ghosts! Once you experience
this ghost tour, you will know first-hand, why Savannah was named America’s
Most Haunted City.
