Integrated Systems & Controls (ISC) members are the
Industry’s leading suppliers of integrated material handling and controls systems.
They supply systems worldwide and in virtually every major manufacturing and distribution
sector.
What is an Integrated Systems & Controls Solution?
Integrated Systems & Controls address industrial automation
issues by taking general requirements and specifications and providing an
integrated solution. Integrated Solutions are value-added functions that often
require project engineering, documentation, procurement of equipment, hardware and
software, installation, testing, commissioning and support.
Integrated systems and controls solutions improve customer service, reduce
inventory and delivery time and lower overall costs of manufacturing, distribution
and transportation operations.
What We Do
ISC members meet regularly to review, discuss and revise
the standards for design, performance and proper operation of integrated material
handling and controls systems.
ISC Programs Include:
- The development and promotion of standard nomenclature.
- The development and promotion of codes and quidelines for equipment operations, personnel safety, ethics etc.
- The preparation and distribution of educational and promotional materials as to the benefits of ISC solutions.
- The establishment of liaison and cooperation with private and governmental groups establishing standards and/or safety codes which are pertinent to this technology.
ISC member companies are concerned, conscientious manufacturers affiliated
in an industry association to provide voluntary standards for the mechanical,
structural and electrical design of integrated material handling and controls
systems, and to formulate guidelines for the proper use, operation and maintenance
of those systems.
