(Neenah, Wis.) –The newest cordless CartMover™ from Appleton Manufacturing is now
available with a wide choice of hitch options. Appearing at ProMat booth 2554, the compact,
battery-powered CartMover is designed to safely and securely move loads on wheels, such as parts carts, shipping carts, dumpsters, machine modules, product racks, stalled tow motors and more. CartMover hitches come in unique sizes and configurations to securely engage and move loads without risk of personal injury or additional machinery. Hitch options include a top mount hitch, a base front mount hitch, a trailer-style hitch, and posts and claw hitches in a variety of sizes.
With a powerful gearmotor drive, the portable CartMover has a weight capacity of 100 lbs.
to 20,000 lbs. Batteries can be changed without tools in as little as 10 seconds. Battery life is also extended with a battery-cooling recharger station. Controls for speed and direction including forward, reverse, up and down are conveniently located on the CartMover handle. The CartMover automatically stops when the handle is released or butts up against the user. Custom-designed hitches are available for the CartMover. In-plant demo units are also available.
