After ID Label began offering warehouse bar code and label installation services several years ago, we found many existing warehouses implementing relabeling projects had old labels that were scraped, nicked and sometimes curling. Removing labels by scraping is time consuming and inadequate as pieces and adhesive residue would remain. Using a solvent to remove old adhesive raised concerns about fumes and brought up OSHA considerations. Solvent residue would also impact the adhesion of any new labels being applied. Painting over old labels is usually not an option as it would impact on going warehouse put away and picking operations. Using traditional oversize cover up labels was not always an option with many redesigned labels. Cover up labels alone left rack beams still looking old with damaged paint in many areas.

This product is designed for easy installation over existing bar code and non-bar code labels on warehouse racks. A unique feature of Beam Renew™ is custom color matching to any rack beam color. After application of Beam Renew™ racks look clean and have a like new appearance. Labels are easily applied over cover up beam material.
