YORK, PA - Westfalia Technologies, Inc (www.WestfaliaUSA.com), a leading provider of warehouse automation solutions, has named Joseph De Poto to Applications Engineering Manager. De Poto coordinates resources to affectively design, quote, implement Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and conveying systems. He also brings his expertise to bear on internal process improvements.
Since receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, De Poto has held prior various engineering manager positions beginning with Fenner Drives for seven years, and J&D Associates for ten years. Most recently, for the past five years, he was the Operations Manager at Interlake Mecalux.
He is also active in the local Elizabethtown community, as an instructor for GEARS Moo Duk Kwan (martial arts), Rheems Athletic Association as a U15 girls’ soccer coach, and serves on the church council for Elizabethtown Grace Brethren Church.
