Floor mounted jib crane, CLK chain hoist and pneumatic winch to be featured at the expo

Atlanta, GA—Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in industrial tools, compressors, pumps and material handling equipment, will attend the MODEX 2012 expo at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on Feb. 6-9, to showcase their material handling products.
MODEX 2012 is in its inaugural year, and is the newest trade show event centered on the manufacturing, distribution and supply chain industries. Ingersoll Rand will be among more than 500 industrial suppliers and will have their floor mounted jib crane, CLK chain hoist and pneumatic winch on display. Ingersoll Rand will also be giving away a cordless Impactool™ kit each day of the expo. Attendees must have their badges scanned at the Ingersoll Rand booth to be entered to win the Impactool.

Ingersoll Rand‘s 220-degree floor mounted jib crane is ideal for low headroom applications and also has low-resistance, lightweight booms that rotate easily around the column or pivot, providing an inexpensive, ergonomic solution to overhead support. The jib cranes come in light, medium and heavy-duty configurations to meet every application.
Ingersoll Rand will also demonstrate the durability, precision and flexibility of their industry-leading Zimmerman Series Air Balancers. Ingersoll Rand offers the broadest range of pneumatic lifting devices in the world, with capacities from 1/8 through 100 tons. Ingersoll Rand offers hoists for high-speed production and food grade applications, as well as the harsh environments found in mines, shipyards, power plants, cement plants, refineries and onshore and offshore drilling sites.
Also on display will be the CLK Series air chain hoists capable of handling loads up to 1,100 pounds. The hoist is compact, lightweight and features steel snap hooks with safety latches to increase safety in the workplace. The hoist also features a best-in-the-industry quiet operation, with sound levels of just 75 dBA to minimize the overall ambient noise of the work site.
Ingersoll Rand has been serving the construction and maintenance industries for nearly 100 years, and their BU7A and EU model pneumatic winches have become the industry standard. Economically priced, the pneumatic winches are available with automatic band brakes and remote controls. An enclosed construction keeps out dirt and dust, and seals in oil and grease for complete lubrication of all moving parts.
