Excel Storage Products Acquires Prest Rack

East Stroudsburg, PA (December 14, 2007) - Excel Storage Products, LP, has announced the acquisition of Prest Rack, Inc., located in Brookings, South Dakota. With more than 30 years as a leader in rack system manufacturing, this acquisition secures powerful positions not only as market share leader in the material handling marketplace, but in the retail, manufacturing, government, and storage/distribution marketplaces as well.

With a combined work force of over 300 employees, Excel Storage Products will continue to offer rack systems (roll-formed and structural), as well as a wide range of uniquely engineered, high-performance, high-density, integrated storage systems. Their product line will include storage rack and cantilever systems (roll-formed and structural); mezzanine systems (rack-supported and structural); rack pick modules; rack system accessories and wire decks; and completely integrated and engineered turn-key storage systems. These storage systems will be manufactured in and distributed from facilities in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, PA; Brookings, SD; and Ogden, Utah. Sales will be handled out of offices in Phoenix, AZ; Atlanta, GA; Orange County, NY; East Stroudsburg, PA; Brookings, SD; and Memphis, TN.

Throughout the acquisition, Excel Storage Products will continue to serve their customer base without interruption through their distribution partners.
