BUTLER, WI—Bushman Equipment Inc., a manufacturer of material handling equipment, is now Bushman AvonTec; a move that brings the parent company and its two divisions (West Bend Equipment and Avon Engineering) together and forms a single source supplier for Below-the-Hook, Floor-Based, and Slit Coil Packaging Equipment.

Bushman AvonTec specializes in the design and manufacture of rugged, custom-engineered material handling equipment for use in a variety of mill-duty, high capacity/high duty cycle industrial applications.
Ralph Deger, Owner and President of BushmanAvonTec, said, “This is a strategic move

Bushman Equipment Inc. has a long history of product leadership in the Below-the-Hook market, making C-Hooks, Coil Grabs, Spreader Beams, Sheet & Plate Lifters, Lifting Tongs and more. The West Bend Equipment Division of Bushman designed custom engineered floor-mounted equipment such as Lift Tables, Upenders, Inverters, Die & Mold Handing pieces and more. Avon Engineering, located in Hamilton, Ontario designed and built custom material handling equipment including strip process machinery and press room automation units.
