FLEX-BACK™ PANEL HELPS REDUCE INDUSTRIAL DOOR DAMAGE

Monday, November 23, 2009

(Mequon, Wisconsin) - Door panel damage from forklift impact is one of the most frequent and costly maintenance problems in today’s busy warehouse, manufacturing and processing environments. The rugged FLEX-BACK™ Panel by APS Resource® helps eliminate bottom door panel damage by flexing upon impact and returning to its normal operating position.

The FLEX-BACK panel is constructed of a high impact polymer skin and flexible tube frame which gives the panel its flexibility and strength. This durability helps eliminate damage to bottom door panels and reduce door maintenance costs.

Lower panels often suffer damage when pallets are shoved into doors or are clipped by the masts of passing forklifts when the door is open. Damaged lower panels can also make doors difficult to open and are a strain on dockworkers’ backs.

The FLEX-BACK Panel replaces most industrial sectional bottom door panels and installs easily using standard/existing door hardware. The panel comes standard with an easy grip lifting handle for effortless operation. The complete perimeter gasket seals give the door exceptional thermal properties to save on energy costs.

The FLEX-BACK Panel is available in the most common sectional door sizes: 8’2”, 9’2” and 10’2”.

APS Resource® supplies a variety of warehouse and loading dock aftermarket products including energy saving solutions, dock safety devices, bollards and guard rails and stocks a full inventory of service parts for all major dock leveler and vehicle restraint manufacturers. APS is a leading brand owned by 4Front Engineered Solutions.
