GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN --- viastore has established relationships with not-for-profit organizations, Robin Hood Global Foundation and Matthew 25: Ministries. Through these organizations non-emergency relief goods are being collected and shipped to Haiti. Many organizations are currently challenged with transporting goods into Haiti. Since Matthew 25: Ministries was shipping goods to Haiti prior to the disaster there, they are able to use existing channels and work with existing partner organizations in Haiti for shipment of goods.
Items being collected in this effort are non-emergency goods. Goods that are needed for longer term relief include: summer clothing, personal care products, school supplies, cleaning products and first aid supplies.
In order to make the most of shipping costs covered by Robin Hood Global Foundation and Matthew 25: Ministries, goods should be in pallet quantities.
If your business has the type of goods listed above on hand that are unsalable, damaged out or available in general please consider donating to help out with ongoing Haitian relief efforts.
