Kathryn C. (Kacey) French, AIA, Joins TranSystems

York, PA – TranSystems, an industry leader in providing complete solutions to the supply chain and transportation challenges of its clients, recently announced that Kathryn C. (Kacey) French, AIA, has joined the company as Assistant Vice President in its York, Pa. office in support of the firm’s architecture and engineering consulting group. French’s professional career spans more than 25 years of recognized architectural work. Her portfolio is focused on the design of “complex building types” and features projects in numerous markets including industrial, retail, commercial, telecommunications, hospitality, government and education.

“Kacey brings new experience and talents to our York office which will further advance our efforts to clients in the manufacturing and distribution arenas,” said Scott Pribula, Market Sector Leader, Manufacturing and Distribution, for TranSystems. “This is an exciting time to be at TranSystems as we go through a growth transition and we’re glad to have Kacey be part of that.”

French develops client relationships and serves as project manager for Architecture and Engineering projects. She has become very active within the construction industry regarding the visionary developments of BIM and IPD. Her past work experience and clients include Construction Administration for building renovations and installations of new tele-communications equipment for AT&T, AT&T Wireless and Verizon; Client Representative and Architect for the installation of flag ship and prototype stores for Ann Taylor, Sterling Optical, Petries, Victoria’s Secret, Structure and Bergdorf Goodman’s Men Store; Lead Architect on projects for major corporations including Marriott Hotels, Embassy Suites and IBM. Her career also has included turns with LaSalle Partners in New York, NY; CIMA Group in Madison, CT; and, since 2004, she has owned her own company, CorrellTech in Madison, CT. She currently is working with The Construction Institute developing programs to improve the industry by sharing experiences and knowledge, advancing relationships and developing business leaders.

French earned a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., completing Classical Architectural Studies in Rome, Italy as part of her undergraduate work.
