BEUMER Corporation to Present Seminar on High-Speed Sortation at 2010 NA Show

Cleveland, OH (www.BEUMER-nowterm.com) – BEUMER Corporation, specializing in the design and supply of material handling and sortation systems, will present a seminar on high-speed sortation systems for warehouse and distribution centers, Monday, April 26 at the 2010 NA Show in Cleveland, OH.

Titled The Economics of Sortation: Leveraging High-Speed Unit Sortation to Drive Volume Growth and Margin Expansion, the 45-minute seminar begins at 11:15 in Theater D.

BEUMER’s seminar will include case studies presented by representatives from Lands’ End, Oriental Trading Company, and MBS Text Book Exchange. Attendees will learn the key factors in using high-speed sortation to reduce costs and acquire / retain customers with better order accuracy, increased service levels and faster time-to-market.

In addition, BEUMER representatives will discuss the Total Value of Ownership (TVO) concept, which goes beyond a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach to include productivity, throughput, flexibility, accuracy, and service levels for a more accurate method of calculating the return on investment (ROI) for automated material handling equipment.
