Quantronix, Inc. is pleased to announce that in addition to the NTEP-USA, Measurement Canada, and NMI-Australia legal-for-trade certifications, the CubiScan® 150 has recently obtained equivalent type-approval to standards set by the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) and to the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) of the European Union.
The CubiScan 150 is an ideal tool to eliminate freight-carrier “charge-backs” by automating the dimensioning and weighing of parcels in manifesting/shipping applications. It is user-installable, user-serviceable, and flexible enough to move anywhere in the warehouse. And it is complemented by Quantronix’ powerful Qbit™ data-interface software, allowing it to conveniently work with virtually any shipping- or warehouse management system (WMS) software.
According to Clark Skeen, President of Quantronix, “The CubiScan 150 is an economical and user-friendly solution for semi-automated manifesting (by a shipper) or freight-auditing (by a carrier). Its capacity—combined with rugged durability—makes the 150 a powerful and productive tool. And now, with OIML and MID certifications it is distinguished with added marks of quality and legal-for-trade type-approval.”
