The Automatic Guided Vehicle Systems (AGVS) Industry Group announces the publication of The Fundamentals of AGV Acceptance Testing. While every AGV system is unique, this guide provides best practices being used by the members of the AGVS.
The Fundamentals of AGV Acceptance Testing can assist AGVS users as they develop a defined process to verify that their system is performing and operating as designed. The guide details the necessity of creating a specification document in the early stages of the project that clearly defines performance requirements and acceptance criteria that will guide users through evaluation, delivers and acceptance of the final system. The Fundamentals of AGV Acceptance Testing also includes ways to improve the specification document and includes keyword definitions and types of performance characteristics.
The Fundamentals of AGV Acceptance Testing is offered at no cost as a download on MHIA.org. Click here to download the document.
