MHIA to Hold Annual State of the Industry Press Conference During NA2010

The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) will conduct its annual press conference during the 2010 North American Material Handling & Logistics Show (NA2010). Scheduled topics include:

  • The state of the material handling & logistics industry
  • The economy and other trends shaping the material handling & logistics industry
  • American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN)
  • NA2010 and ProMat 2011
  • Major 2010-11 Industry initiatives

The mission of MHIA is to advance the interests of the industry, including the movement, storage, control, and protection of materials and products throughout the process of their manufacture, distribution, consumption and disposal. MHIA is an international trade association that has represented this industry since 1945. MHIA members include material handling equipment and systems manufacturers, integrators, third party logistics providers, consultants, simulators, and publishers. Member companies come from all areas of material handling and various parts of the world, making MHIA a strong national and international representative for the material handling industry. MHIA continues its mission to address the more technical and product specific elements of the industry through its product sections and councils.

NA 2010 (April 26-29, 2010 in Cleveland’s I-X Center) is the largest material handling and logistics trade event held in the United States in 2010. The event will attract industry professionals from the United States and around the world.
