Industry professionals attending the recent 2010 North American Material Handling & Logistics Show (NA 2010) returned home armed with innovative material handling & logistics solutions for their recovering manufacturing and supply chain operations. The success of NA 2010 provided further evidence that an industry recovery is under way as half of NA 2010 attendees said they plan to spend more than $100,000 on material handling & logistics equipment and systems in the next 18 months. And 60% of those plan to spend more than $500,000. Nearly 20% of all NA 2010 attendees have spending plans over $1,000,000.
This year's event featured 426 exhibits covering 120,000 net square feet at Cleveland's I-X Center. More than 17,000 attendees saw everything from basic equipment to automated handling systems to software, control, IT and sustainability solutions in an impressive display of exhibits.
