Teacher's Institute
CICMHE sponsors a Material Handling Teachers Institute (MHTI) to prepare new faculty for instruction in the field of materials handling as well as to enhance the skills of experienced faculty. MHTI is for both engineering and business faculty who are directly involved in the teaching of material flow systems and/or facility logistics. It will feature a wide range of industry and academic presentations, plant and lab tours, and social activities designed to promote better teaching of material handling and facilities design courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Through a variety of program activities, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with their colleagues and share course designs, teaching methods, case studies, textbooks, software, and more. The institute is offered every two years in the summer of odd-numbered years.
See information on the current teachers institute or
